Complain If You Must

. . . . . . . but cherish your singlehood!

If you're single and haven't found the Mr./Miss Right, that is not the end of the world. And, no. It's not because you're not pretty or beautiful (yes, I think pretty and beautiful are not the same!).

I read/heard a lot from friends/relatives etc complaining about their "boring life" (singlehood is NOT boring, people ARE!) and wish they should have landed themselves "that" person by now.

Please please please . . . look at it positively. Cherish it as a gift for you. Consider yourself lucky and bear in mind, many would want to be as single as you are right now (NOT me!). Okay, so you'd say I don't understand how it feels to be single. Oh puuhhh-leasssseeeee..! I'm typing this entry for you now because I was a SINGLE for many years too!

As many singles do, I did hope that one day I would meet my Mr. Robert Pattinson (ada jak). But I didn't think too much of it because life doesn't just revolve around this issue at all. And yes, I had a wonderful time being single for years before I met my fiance. Yes, I'm lucky, and so are you - the singles!

It's not that I want my single life back, but when I looked back to my younger days - I regretted the previous relationships (no offense hehehe..) even though they all ended very well. Frankly speaking my relationships were the results of the feeling of urgency at that time to have a boyfriend and boy, I ended up with the wrong person. Yes, the more you think of having a relationship, there would be more chances for you to have none. So, pursue your love but don't push it too far.

Life would be colourful experiencing all these but you wouldn't want to end up with the wrong guys so many times that it might make you feel that you're not special at all, would you? Have a date (dates!!!!) if you must, but don't expect love would come rolling.

Take your time observing and assessing and enjoying your status as a single lady/guy. When you do meet that Mr./Miss Right, that is when you are going to feel more special than ever before.
