Do Not Correct Me Here - I Kn♥w Better.

Ok, aku tauk semua mensia still have that Raya mood that I don't think I'm going to voice this in my FB status. Yet. But I think I need to share this with all petrol consumers (as in users, not ppl who CONSUME petrol, ok?!).

So, on 1st Sept 2009, Msians have been introduced to the new economical RON95 petrol with the retail price of RM 1.80 per liter. Aoklah, kata ku tek. Even though aku mucau-mucau at first. RON97 pula naik harga to RM 2.00 per liter. On that day, I just arrived from Kuching after a one-week holiday and my tank was empty. I filled in my tank full with the new petrol, and wasn't complaining much as I paid almost the same amount as for the previous petrol. My full tank (RM50++) is equal to one week usage to me - going to/back from work, out for dinners etc. One Tuesday, aku perasan meter minyak aku has only three bars left. I told Nurmi about this but we didn't complain much. Yet. (erm, pelik juak Nurmi sik komplen hahaha!)

Second incident. Balik cuti for Raya last Saturday aku hampir kejang jantung di Semukoi, Serian. Usually, full tank would be enough for my car to reach my house in Kuching from my house in Sibu. Yes! You read it correct. However, RON95 became my instant enemy when I reached Semukoi. Meter minyak aku dah berkelip-kelip and God knows berapa jauh agik Semukoi ke Serian ya. Kedak previous blog post aku, dari Melugu ke Balai Ringin ada dua sekolah menengah, this is worse. From Sri Aman/Simanggang to Serian we only have TWO petrol stations and BOTH ARE IN SERIAN!!! How cool is that, huh?

Aku nang hanya berdoa dengan pelbagai cara dan pelbagai kepercayaan yang aku tauk that my car won't be stalled anywhere on the road. No, not here. Not NOW!! Dengan perasan ketuh-ketuh kata orang Iban tek, I drove steadily until I reached Petronas (a rare side of me, I prefer Shell) and fill my tank with RON95 (again). I have no option because I didn't see any green pump around plus there's a long queue. I paid RM50 for the full tank and as I drove out from there, I told myself, "Damn RON95!".

The new petrol is said to be economical. But from a source I really trust in, whom have appeared in a local newspaper on sup tulang (apakah?), RON95 is actually made of waste of Regular petrol we used to have before. Being a good acquaintance to this person, it makes sense to me. Aku pun perasan, kereta kesayangan aku ya lambat pick up using the so-called environmental friendly petrol. Soooooo the garbage enzyme to me!! :p

So I think I won't mind paying more for better performance. Sikda beza juak. Mun pun murah, tapi cepat habis THAN mahal sikit tapi lambat sikit nak habis. Ney yang saudara saudari maok?
