We Should Practise Some of The Values, Not Sammy Vellu!

I'm guessing a lot of you out there must be big fans of Miss Agnes Monica; an Indonesian actress and songstress. She's famous in both Indonesia and Malaysia and recently hit it big time on our local tv with her soap opera Jelita. Ring a bell? Due to the fact that she is beautiful and talented, she becomes an instant sweetheart to many of her Malaysian fans. However, I am never a fan of hers because of *Britney-isme* reasons. Ok, I'm not going to talk about that!

But for once, let's be nice to her.

I have just watched Melodi on TV3 this afternoon and she was interviewed during her recent visit here. At first, it showed the "frustrated and disappointed looking" of the show presenter because Agnes Monica ignored him for half an our taking pictures with the backup dancers whom she gets to see everyday. Hairan juak, because I saw that they were some fans around her, and she; dressed casually and looked relaxed - was attending the fans as well. And the show presenter kept saying about allegations of Agnes Monica being diva-ish and snobbish and etc... She was a big hit here and her concert tickets were sold out so I didn't see why the fuss? Until the show presenter, at last, had the chance to interview her and by then I knew what the fuss was about - it was about her song "Allah Peduli" (God Cares).
Provocation. Malaysians' favourite past time. She was said to be stirring chaos amongst music lovers in this country (not me, though!) with her 'controversial' song by picking such title. I put my hat up for her when she handled the Q well and said it right, straight to the presenter's face - and the rest of my fellow countrymen. I wouldn't tell you about her answer here but she gave almost the same exact answer as my previous blog entry on the word Allah. I'm sure after this Agnes Monica is earning HARD time to sell here.

Only ONE conclusion to made throughout the ending montage.
How sensitive people are. Auuww..

Current song: Trembled For My Love by Collective Soul
