I love April. Tahun tok April paling banyak cuti yang cun/dekat dengan weekend. Contohnya, semalam (Monday) I took a sick leave. Alasannya? For me to know, for you to find out!

Sakit. Go away!

Hari tok pulak, sekolah aku ada Cuti Peristiwa sempena Hungry Ghost Festival a.k.a Ching Ming. Yep, bala Cina ngintu kubur, ko kitai bansa. My school has a majority of Chinese students and teachers, thus explains the necessity of having a day break for today.

Another 11 days to go, State Election will be held throughout Sarawak (nama pun STATE nak)? So, aku dah siap beli tiket balit Kuching to vote for the first time. My DUN would be Batu Kawah.

Penamaan calon is tomorrow. I am looking forward to "perang poster"!

The next Thursday after the state election, aku akan balit agik for Good Friday falls on 22nd Apr this year. It's a day of obligation for all Christians and coming home for the Holy Weekend is a must for me. Next up, is of course Easter Day on the following Sunday, 24th Apr. Rugi sik balit. My mak cooks sedap-sedap each year, in case ada orang datang. Yes, open house is on during Easter Day. Last year, we went to Lloyd's house at Kg. Bunuk. Can you imagine shots of liquor on a hot afternoon? So, apa plan this year, Jup? Lloyd? Langie? Jerry? Ricardo? Hehehehe..

Jesus was nailed to the cross and He was crucified to save us from the slavery of sins.
I tend to get very emotional every time during the Good Friday mass.

On the third day, He rose again and ascended to heaven. He sat at the right hand of the Father.

Dan... kerana bilangan pelajar dan guru Kristian di sekolah saya adalah lebih daripada 50%, maka sekolah diisytiharkan cuti pada Isnin yang berikutnya, 25th April 2011 for Easter Monday! Yiiippee...!

Four days in school later that week, and I'm sure to be back to Kuching again the following Friday, 29th April for the Labour Day weekend. Since 1st May falls on Sunday, I think you know what's gonna happen the next Monday! 

All of us deserve a well-earned break!

Bukan itu sahaja, we have something to look forward to during that weekend. Kawan lama di UiTM Shah Alam, Charles Eddie kahwin Sabtu ya oi!!! Husband & I and some other friends are very excited to mejeng again this time. Congratulations to Mr. & Mrs. Mamao :)
