Hello Blogging!

Hello, people! Hello, blogspot!! Fuhhh been a whileee (a while??) since my last post & I almost forgot the password to my account! Hahaha terrrookkk!

First of all, happy new year to y'all & hope 2010 was a grrrreeeaaatttt year to each one of us. It was indeed my favourite year so far.

2010 kicked off pretty slow but it was an exciting journey since January, even though I have lost some dearly cousins and kins in that year. God bless their souls.

To all who'd been following (and reading) my posts all this while should've known why 2010 was the best for me by far.

Yes, I professed my vow at the altar. THE VOW.

It was a beautiful day to get married and I kinda miss the time while I was waiting inside the car to walk the aisle. I cried my way to the meet THE MAN at the altar ('twas because I saw mom shed tears), however it was one truly exceptional and joyous day for husband & I.
Here are some pics of the special event (credits to Ee - one of our official potographers for the day).

God knew how nervous we were in front theeeerrre!!

Say HELLO to Mr. & Mrs. Ricardo!

'Twas a great conclusion of the year!

Later that night, we threw a reception dinner & I was thankful that many relatives & friends came, from near & far, to join the auspicious evening with us. Everybody wore smiles on their faces & it sent warmth to my heart to see both my parents and his, at their happiest!
The first dance of the evening. Cheesy hehe..

Sometimes you feel like all the preparations in years had been put to waste when you'd only be able to celebrate it all in one day. I beg to differ, because that day had left a memory to us for a lifetime.

Thanks to all family members, bridal party members, relatives, friends & guests. Thank you for the lovely presents and generous ang pows (oh, the ang pows were really unexpected & when we have amounted them all, we just feel like we're having a second-time ceremony! hahaha!)

Few days later, still in my wedding blues, I had to be apart from husband for 3 days to attend KISSM (not elaborating on that!) in Sibu. Yes, I didn't study my notes, I didn't really pay attention & I didn't give my best for the test. But at that time, I didn't give it a damn. In fact, other participants didn't have the hearts for it too! Heeee..

The best thing about KISSM Dec 2010 was the hotel room Syidah & I shared.
Oh, and the shower.

Back from Sibu, husband & I held a simple blessing ceremony at St. Joseph's Cathedral after the previous one at St. Thomas's. It's only attended by close relatives, but it's a lovely day too since now that we had felt everything was completed! GRAAAADUAAATEDDDDD, baby!!!
With our dear parents, aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews in front of the Prayer Room at St. Joseph's.

The next day, we flew to Kota Kinabalu for our first honeymoon. Yes, we have to postpone Bali trip. Oh, I can't wait!
Yeeeee... Parasailing at Manukan!!

After KK trip, Christmas was wonderful as my beloved nephews & niece were in Kuching. They went back to Perak on Boxing Day.

Husband & I then went back to Sibu & we didn't really celebrate our New Year as we were only watching whatever it was on TV & sinking ourselves in the pleasure (what pleassuurrre??) of smartphones! Hahahaha! It was only on Saturday, 1st Jan that we drove 3 hours to Bintulu for our quick getaway & second honeymoon trip.
Park City Everly Hotel. Good service and accomodation.

Today, 15th January on a Saturday evening, here I am. Sipping my favourite beer and munching on Pistachio nuts. Updating and refining my dusty blog, some 300 miles away from husband. Sad, I know, but I must fight the feeling of *drought* ERRRRKKKKK!!!

So, what's my resolution?
  • Must leave house before 6.30am to work.
  • Cook and eat in more frequent.
  • Get pregnant. God's willing.
Tell me about your resolution friends!! And a HAPPY NEW YEAR 2010 to all of you. Muaaxx!~
