Tersepit

Yerrr.... best topik ku aritok kohhhh.. Pasal sepit-sepit tok.... Sik ada kaitan langsung dengan kuih sepit.
Before ngerepak panjai-panjai, here's a pic of my early dinner today.

White rice, stir fry udang, sup sayur, tauhu goreng and sambal kicap (Tong Nam) hihi..

Ok, sudah kenyang, boleh ssstttaaaarrrtttt!!!

The story goes like this....

When I went home to Kch last weekend I read a news about a missing teenage girl in Sibu. Little did I know that she's actually one of our own. She ran away with a guy she knew through FB. Pathetic. One more girl, a friend to the first missing girl, was also reported, well - missing not long after. Reason being? A guy.

Wait. Don't go to PerezHilton.com just yet, I still have a few.

Last week, a girl student in my class was absent for more than 3 days and couldn't be contacted. Her parents were separated and she's supposedly staying with her dad, even though she likes mom more. So, last Friday, a concerned residence of a nearby neighbourhood called us, saying that a girl in a school uniform was seen cuddling and God-knows-what-else-they-did at a nearby park. It had been going on for two days. I tried to call the dad. Guess what, he didn't give a shit to her little girl anymore. OCCAAAYYY!! When I asked the girl's best friend, she finally told me that the girl is now staying with her so-called steady boyfriend, and yes, neither the dad nor the mom really gives a damn. Baiklah.

That was that. Hold on. I have one more!

The morning Sneijder shook his head in disappointment after his team failed to lift the FIFA 2010 World Cup, I logged on to FB (secondary account for students). Here's what I read, posted on the night before.

The question.

Who to be blamed? You know my answer.

Sadly, after much persuasion and influence, fingers will be pointed at the school. All the time.
All I'm just saying is why couldn't the other party be as concerned and as responsible as we are when shit like these happen. If a girl was absent, the school would be blamed for not informing parents. Girl posted stupid FB status saying she's skipping school, parents wouldn't ask and check WHY the heck the daughter wasn't getting ready for school.

Sad. Sad. Sad.

Just hours ago, I received a sad news from a fellow teacher-friend. Electricity usage would be cut down from now on in his school. A school which could only be reached by a 3-hours-or-so on a boat trip.

I could go on forever with this which I'm not going to do now. And for all these situation, often we, yes WE, find ourselves stucked at the road of nowhere. We are brainwashed not to complain because we are merely servants. (Other countries don't use the word for those who serve the nation). Things have gone out of proportion. I think complaints are good as they are actually a measuring tool for a system. Besides, the better we were educated, better ideas and thoughts should be voiced.

I can't see a solid future in the current system for now. Maybe I'm just being prejudice. Cynical. Or maybe I'm just not feeling well at the moment. *dizzy*

Just, whatever happens to whatever?
