Same Ol', Same Ol'

This was something I posted to my FB note last time, sayang mun sik engkah di blog rasa ku. Ney tauk tetiba aku emotional nak deactivate FB kerrrr... Kannnnn?? It was about my childhood memories, funny funny and totally baffling!!!

Grow up? NOT!! Suddenly I was thinking of posting an entry on my good old times when I was about 5-12 years old.

#10 : Sitting on two sacks of rice, I threw a tudung kuali down as a sign of protest to my mother because she cooked Bendi Guring Belacan instead of Bendi Rebus, my favourite.

#9 : My mak and apak would never want to dress in front of me because I would urge them to take me with them, thinking they were going out. EVERYTIME.

#8 :
When I was in kindy, I would wait for my dad to take me home at his office. While waiting, I wrote and sketched a table top all over with people's names, short essays, songs lyrics, artistes I had crushes on etc. It was the table for EVERY teacher to sign in and out (kind of punch in, out). So, you know what they said.

#7 : My big bro and I have 11 months gap between us. Growing up, we would have the same shirts (different colours) and my favourite was baju Fido Dido warna hijau..

#6 : My brother and I didn't have toys and we would play 'tapok', coconut, ulat keladi, the toilet flush, hos air (pancit ke rumah jiran), pasir depan rumah, masak bunga raya, lompat longkang (my bro did fell down INTO the drain), thumb tacks and the magnet for the car stereo last time. The games were endless.

#5 : I was the die-hard fan of "obscenity". After school, I took off my school pinafore, except the undies, and would lie down on the cold floor watching Hindi.

#4 : I was the white mice (used for scientific testing) to my sis Angelia when she wanted to try a new hairdo. Once, my hair was caught in the hairdryer and we walked one street away (with the comb and hairdryer still in my hair), to get my cousin, Akak Kong, to help us de-tangled it. One side of my hair was cut short.

#3 : In Year 2, my dad bought a new car. I fell sick at school one day and the teacher asked, "Boleh bapa kamu hantar (kamu) balik?" I answered, "Boleh. Itu kereta baru dia, KH1**."

#2 : I believed PIGS lay eggs, my elder sister Angelia @ Nurul told me so and I almost argued with my Alam & Manusia teacher.

#1 : My imaginary friend whom I introduced only to my eldest sister Carol, was named Husmina bt. Tuhasan.

GOSH, I can't believe I'm 27 now!!

Care to share yours? :-)
