It's Nearing.

Yeah, everyone was talking about it. Argentina boarded the plane home to Buenos Aires. It finally made the day watching them thrashed by the Germans 0-4, after so much expectations and pundits and bets raised on them. They were expected to win WC 2010, but I smirked at these as we all knew how they got through to South Africa. Yes, play-off. I've never regarded The Argies as threatening enough because:

1. They are never my favourite.
2. Yes, they won all matches , pfft - over Greece, Korea Republic, Nigeria and Mexico. Not to belittle all these teams, but you know what I mean. Their true performance had not yet been approved just by beating these underdogs. Until they met Deutschland.

Many bets were put on them because of their fast-paced styles of playing, but to me even though the Germans looked "lungat and lumbu",(Iban's rude version of slow and steady) - the Argies finally fell to victim of Germany's steady possession of the ball. They were too many individuals players in the team and they depended too much on Messy (blog aku, sukati aku nak ngeja). Nevertheless, it was a great match to watch (personally, I think Brazil vs. Holland was the best match to date) as who would've thought a nil from the Hand of God's team?

So, pack the bags and get ready the passports Diego! Vamos, berambus!

Before I got many hate messages because of my reviews here, let's talk a little about the final four. Spain made it to the last four and even though I favour and prefer their game to German's, I am still rooting for a Sneijder/Podolski showdown in the finale.

Sneijder

vs.

Podolski
What say you?

My hope goes to Holland. As many disregarded their chances of being in the final two.

Supporting the least-supported is the best bet I can make t myself. Simply because (bukan Simply Siti) - I won't have nothing to lose if the least-favourited lose and also it would be grrreeeeaaattt if they win!

Disappointing and frustrating as it was, it's still a beautiful game. So, let's enjoy the once in a four-years' time tournament of the universe while it lasts!
*I still haven't planned on how to spend nights without watching football once it's over. siggghhh!

On the other hand, I am friggin' excited for the proposal the world's been waiting for. The sexy vampiro is back in the cinema and YES, I DON'T KNOW WHAT ELSE TO SAY WHEN I'm THIS EXCITED! The first show is going to be 08.07.2010 and I will only be able to grab my twin-seats premiere the day after. Heck no I'm watching this in Sibu. I'm dragging my fiance to watch it with me, by hook or by crook. He can sleep in the cinema, but he MUST go watch with me. Otherwise, I won't be able to differentiate reality/movie whenever Edward Cullen appears on the screen! Ngeee!!!

Here's a sneak peak of the limited and special edition of the movie poster I got when flew to La la Land some days ago.

I had no right to want you — but I reached out and took you anyway. And now look what’s become of you! Trying to seduce a vampire.
