Oh, please..!!!!!

I can never tolerate with rudeness and impoliteness.

I went to Farley Supermarket (yes, I'm revealing the name) to have a humble shopping for dinners. So I got my basket and started to parade it around. After I picked some groceries, I went to the cashier counter, well, of course to pay. So I unloaded things from my basket while waiting the customer in front of me made her payment. Then, I put the basket to where it should be.

"Member card?" asked the cashier.
I showed her my card and she scanned it in a blink of an eye. I didn't realize her rudeness when all of a sudden she packed all my things into the plastic bag roughly, as if she's chasing me away from the house. Get it?

I just looked straight at her face, knowing that she wouldn't look me in the eye. I made my payment, and then I saw she hasn't scanned and packed my white pepper. By the time, Syidah lined up behind me.
"Itu belum", I pointed at my white pepper, like instructing her to scan it at once. She did, and she stamped my bottle onto the counter top. Did she have to do that? My eyes were still fixed to hers, and slowly I took RM2 from my purse. I know she's pissed but I was waiting for her to be brave enough to look to my eyes, signaling she was angry. Unfortunately, she didn't - until I walked away.

You see, I've been working as a banquet crew and a cashier before. And I know, it's not hard to be nice and courteous to customers even though you have a bad hair day that day. Who wants to know that? I am not downsizing any job because I am surrounded by people I love who work as waitresses, shop asisstants, building constructors, etc.
I am so effin' pissed because I've experienced this a lot here in this town. Pizza Hut Sanyan Mall (waiter named Suri), the lady from Vogue Boutique, sales asisstant in Parkson Ria, Sanyan Mall, the Singapore Chicken Rice (opposite Premiere Hotel) waiter, namely Wany.

I hate it when I'm being the object of your anger management, when I actually should be treated with respect and courtesy.

If you think you're angry and you want to put it all on me, then you're wrong. Because I could be angrier than your bacteria-sized brain.

  1. I once read in CLEO Aug'09 Issue..

"Smile to random people you meet on the streets daily. It's like collecting happy points for yourself."

I wish more people practise that.
